entertainer. Jacqui combines her exceptional vocal ability with that of
playing the Alto Saxophone and Clarinet in a very streamlined, fast moving
act, guaranteed to entrance her audiences.
Show-Business
runs in the family, and even before turning professional Jacqui had
already had a wealth of experience. Her dance training began at the tender
age of three, shortly followed by singing and studying music. By the time
she was nine Jacqui was entering and winning talent contests all over the
country, culminating in a first place in the Mecca Star Search.
The
Early Days Jacqui then went on to dance at the Saddlers Wells Theatre
followed by the offer of a place at the Arts Educational School Tring
where she spent three years studying all aspects of dance, music and
drama. The budding Ballerina was then faced with a difficult decision - to
devote her career to Classical Ballet or to enter the highly competitive
world of Variety. Her mind was made up for her when she was offered a
summer Season in her then home town of Bournemouth, followed in 1979 by a
resident season with Ponitins in Torquay. The year after found Jacqui in
summer season at the Prince of Wales Theatre Colwyn Bay, supporting Ivor
Emmanuel this was followed by a six month Mediterranean Cruise.

With & Where further summer seasons followed at the 3B’s Theatre
Bridlington, The Cosy Nook Theatre in Newquay, Babbacombe Theatre, English
Riviera Centre and Princess Theatre Torquay, A tour of Jersey,
Haven/Warner and Summerland on the Isle of Man. since then Jacqui has been
in constant demand to appear at Theatres, clubs and Hotels throughout the
country where she has worked with such artists as Bob Monkhouse, Tom O’Conner,
Roger De Courcey, Bobby Davro, The Beverly Sisters, Bernie Clifton, Jimmy
Cricket, Rod Hull and Emu, The Worzels, Alan Randall, Peter Goodright,
Jimmy Jones, Marmalade, The Dreamers and Ruby Murrey. In 1986 Jacqui
appeared at the Lakeside Country Club, the first of many, she has also
performed at Kings Club Birmingham and the Crest Club Isle of Sheppy. Her
engagements have taken her to Dubai, the Algarve, Tenerife, Madeira and on
cruises to the Mediterranean and Caribbean. She performed at The
Babbacombe Theatre for three years in various productions produced by
Colin Matthews. In 1999 she topped the bill at the Princess Theatre
Torquay.
Now
In Sussex, Jacqui entertains in various Hotels and Clubs in the area. Other engagements take her further a field include her
three successful years at various Wallace Arnold Hotels and Warner sites. 2006
Summer Season at the Pier Theatre Bournemouth for Dougie Chapman in We'll
Meet Again.
